"The escort card is used to direct guests to their predetermined table seating arrangement for the wedding reception. It corresponds with a master seating chart, which may or may not designate guests to specific seats.
Generally, guests will find the escort card on a separate table as they enter the reception. The card will be marked with the guest's name and table assignment.
